FAQs
What does my kid need to know to take the Summer of AI bootcamp?
As long as they know how to write clear, short sentences, they're ready to learn AI. They need just a laptop and plenty of imagination.
I have summer travel plans. Are the classes flexible?
Each topic will be covered in multiple sessions during a week, giving you the flexibility to choose slots as per your (and your kids') convenience. However, a weekly module will be finished in the designated week. Subsequently, a recording of the session will be shared with everyone.
What if I don't want to take the 8-week or 4-week courses, but choose the weeks I want to register?
You could do so but it's not recommended. Although each weekly module is complete in itself, the fun is in stringing them together to build something tangible at the end of 4 and 8 weeks. However, if schedule doesn't permit then you can choose individual modules for a weekly fee of ₹5000.
Do I need to buy subscriptions for all the tools mentioned in the course curriculum?
Most of the tools are free or have good free tiers. For the ones that are paid, we'll buy the subscription and share with the kids as and when they need.
How do the different age groups work?
The first 4 modules cover the basics of AI including tools that age groups 8 onwards can start using. It's recommended that everyone aged 8 and above take these modules, including higher age group kids. The last 4 modules are more advanced, hence they're recommended for 10 yo and above. Having said that, the age groups are just a thumb rule. We believe kids any age can learn anything, if they love the process of learning.
